Run-DMC

Run-DMC was and is the greatest rap group ever. Most people don't even the barriers that these guys brought down. Back in '82 Run(Joseph Simmons) used to be known as Son of Kurtis Blow, when his brother Russell Simmons had an idea for a new group for his label DefJam. Russell's partner Rick Ruben found DMC. Shortly after the boys recorded their first single, Sucker MC's. Run-DMC have done everything from preforming at Live-Aid top touring Europe all the time wearing Adidas, the best shoes ever made. They even made TWO movies Krush Groove and Tougher Than Leather. All the pics on this page have to do with OLD SKOOL Run-DMC.
